This method, often called a Euro hem, removes the original hem and trims away the excess length. The hem is then reattached to the newly shortened leg, matching the original stitching as closely as possible, including the factory topstitching and any fading or wear pattern along the fold.
The result keeps the factory finish of the jeans intact. There is no visible sign the length was altered, and the original hem, whiskering, and stitch detail remain exactly as they were.
How Long It Takes
Once your garment arrives at our studio, the repair takes up to 2-3 weeks. Occasionally it takes a little longer, usually when we need to source matching materials like a specific zipper, buckle, button, or beading. If that’s the case for your repair, we’ll be in touch to let you know.
HOW SHIPPING WORKS
We offer courier shipping across Canada through FedEx. When you book a service, you'll pay a shipping fee to send your item to our atelier. Once your restoration is complete, we cover the cost of returning it to you.
