re is ethically-made in Toronto, Canada by a small team of skilled pattern makers and seamstresses. Each style is made in limited quantities using repurposed materials, sustainable fabrics, and locally-sourced textiles. Vintage clothing is hand selected from vintage wholesalers, and reinvented into modern garments. Through this process, re works to prolong the textiles’ longevity. 

re strives to use minimal water and energy, and produce the least possible amount of textile waste in the making of all collections. However, there will always be some leftover fabric after cutting out patterns. Any excess fabric is collected in a bin and then donated to local toy makers, quilters and schools for further use. re is also advocating with city counsellors to develop a local textile waste recycling program to divert factory textile waste from the landfill.

From start to finish, re consciously creates clothing and accessories that are respectful of people and the planet.
