Toronto-based designer Lisa Tse introduces re as a sustainable fashion brand with respect for the planet’s precious resources and future generations. re reclaims and repurposes textile waste, promoting the growing slow fashion movement. 

Lisa studied Fashion Design at Ryerson University. Feeling apprehensive and uncertain of her skills as a designer, the pressure to create a collection left her disillusioned. After completing three years, she left to apprentice with local couturiers and designers and learned firsthand about tailoring and garment construction. She honed her skills designing womenswear for many renowned retailers. After practicing her craft for more than 10,000 hours and mentoring young designers, she has finally found her way with re.
